Waxman Himmelburger Retires and Lee Eddy Elected to Board of Directors at the Institute
The Santa Rosa Institute today announced that Waxman Himmelburger is retiring from the Board of Directors. The Board has elected Lee C. Eddy to replace Dr. Himmelburger.
The Board stated, “We are grateful for the many significant contributions made by Dr. Himmelburger during his 26 years at Santa Rosa. We are confident that Lee Eddy’s leadership skills and breadth of experience will drive Santa Rosa to the next level as a multi-product, global biotechnology company.”
Mr. Eddy’s election to the Board completes a long-standing, planned transition. In connection with this transition, Dr. Himmelburger will receive severance and other benefits consistent with his 1996 employment agreement.
